The Warwick is a legendary address in the 8th arrondissement combining comfort, serenity and modernity. Located between the Arc de Triomphe and Place de la Concorde, the hotel, managed by Gaëlle Urban, is at the tip of the Golden Triangle, the fashion, culture and art district, a few steps from the Champs-Élysées, Avenue George V and luxury boutiques. Its restaurant, the W, offers varied and original cuisine cooked by Laurent Fayet, who was Philippe Groult's sous-chef at the Amphyclès**, avenue des Ternes in Paris, and that of the Hôtel Mélia in Berlin.
This experienced chef who was able to impose his creativity and his know-how by directing the kitchens of the W from 2015 to 2020 resumed his position in 2023, after more than 3 years in the Kompers Group in Angers including he was the executive chef. The menu combines flavors from around the world with classic recipes, with very affordable prices for the neighborhood. Among the suggestions of the day made with fresh, quality products, without overdoing the flavors, we will remember the salmon gravlax with Savora sauce, the vitello tonnato, the mushroom fricassee and the organic perfect egg, the scallops accompanied by a variation of carrots, the fillet of sea bream, Tom Yam style, the steak steak and its variation of cabbage.
The cozy setting of the W attracts a dedicated clientele at lunchtime and during Sunday brunch, whose competent room service takes great care of them. In the evening, it's a completely different atmosphere which suits intimate dinners or "before & after" events around the bar which has seen the best of the best bartenders since its creation.
